SIMPSON DESERT COSTS

Boomerang Adventures offers two great ways to join us for the Simpson Desert. We run passenger tours in modern four wheel drive vehicles, as well as a tag-a-long option for those who wish to take their own vehicle.

1. Passenger 4WD tour Price: $3385 inc. GST per person.

This is a camping tour, with the option of sleeping out in a swag under the stars. This is certainly the way we sleep when in the outback, and it is hard to beat.

  • All transport arrangements in comfortable air - conditioned 4WD

  • All meals as indicated on the menu

  • All fees relating to park entry and sights

  • Camping equipment (tent and mattress, bring your own sleeping bag and pillow)

2. Simpson Desert Tag-a-long tour Price: $2500 inc. GST per vehicle (includes two people. Additional passengers will cost $595 per person)

Cost includes:

  • A lead car to guide the Tag-a-long tour

  • The carrying of rescue and recovery equipment as well as carrying a satellite phone

  • Instructions on driving in desert conditions

  • All camp site bookings

  • Guides who love the outback and showing people it's beauty and character

  • Trip to Big Red

  • Trip to Silverton
