Boomerang Adventures and TIGS have been working together for over 8 years. As a school with a sequential outdoor programme, we rely on Boomerang Adventures to provide good quality instructors to teach our students best practice. Our programmes progressively increase in challenge and demands; from an introduction programme in year 7, to camping on the snow in year 10. Boomerang Adventures are able to teach our students the basics of setting up a tent and cooking on a stove, to advanced navigation and group management in a wilderness setting. The life skills that are taught and facilitated through the Boomerang Guides are exceptional, they have a genuine care for our students and treat them as if they were their own. You could talk to any of our senior students, and they will remember their "Boomer's" instructor in year 7 and how awesome they were. From a school perspective the Boomerang team are easy to work with, flexible in catering for special needs and are always looking for ways to improve our programmes. We work very closely with Boomerang Adventures throughout the year, we really respect the style of relationship that they develop with clients and as a result our students benefit greatly.
